It's rare combination for a product to look good and also perform well. This vent hood does exactly that.. easy touchpad controls come with a remote and also you can enable it on your phone.

Apparently there is an electrical issue with the new hood. It took a month to get a repairman, who is scheduled for next week. The light flickers on low, works on high. The clock randomly changes times. I hope this issue can be resolved.

So love the inside part but the outside vent is the reason the lower rating.. Very tinny vent that flaps in the wind and is very annoying!

We do like the hood, however are not real happy with the outside vent..very flimsy and the wind blows it and it makes noises. The install has not been good, but that is on the installers..It looks very nice and functions good.

We love our gas oven with the 6 burner stove top, and head and shoulders over the electric stove top that came with the home. The exhaust hood has sleek lines and a contemporary design with commercial features. We don't know how we lived without our new built-in microwave. Very functional!

Easy to clean with a superb streamline look. This hood actually works. The different light settings are also very nice so that you don't have to have blinding light on. I love that it has a clock feature as well as the chef connect!

We've owned this for a little over a year and it's a very good vent hood. The lights are nice and bright, the exhaust is very powerful and it's easy to clean. The glass control panel makes it look nice as well.
The filters are easy to remove and pop into the dishwasher for cleaning which is great. The controls are good although sometimes the touch sensitivity could be better. The timed off feature which shuts the vent off after a couple minutes is useful as well. Somewhat surprisingly the remote control feature via the GE app is useful sometimes as well.
My only problem was that the first vent delivered had a poorly working touch control which made it almost impossible to use. We had to use the remote control for a while. Since the part was unavailable, GE replaced the entire unit which was nice service.
